I’ve had this at many Cracker barrels on our trips to Virginia and this is soooo much better than theirs…
1 2lb bag hash browns
16 oz sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 stick butter
1/2 cup onion, we don’t tend to add this
2 cups grated cheese, use your favorite or mix and match
Place potatoes in a 9 x 13 inch pan, season with salt and pepper. Melt butter in microwave. in a bowl add onions, sour cream,and soup, pour in melted butter and mix, pour over hash browns top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes then hide till supper time…
